I graduated with Devin from BVN in 2002. Although I wasn't close friends with her, she always seemed to have a smile on her face and full of happiness. One thing I have learned from my short time on this earth is that the more you love someone, the harder it is to lose them. devin will be greatly missed and take comfort in the fact that she lifed life to the fullest.

i miss devin very much, i luckily got to sort of reconnect with her recently when i ran into her, i cherish all the good times we had in lawrence over that year i lived there, and i feel blessed for having met her, she always had something to say to me about whatever, or make fun of something with or even about me, and i loved her for that

It is with extreme sorrow and regret, that I express my condolences to your family. I am a long lost friend of Devin's. We graduated from BVN together in 2002. In my short but sweet time with Devin, I found her to be one of the most welcoming and kind-hearted people I've ever encountered. And no matter what, she always rocked a smile. I pray for the best for the family and may her spirit bless us unrelentingly and eternally. God bless you, Devin. You will be missed all over the country and for the rest of the lives of those you've touched.

The untimely and senseless loss of Devin took me back to those first days and weeks after losing my son and Emily Moore's brother Carter. At the Visitation this evening my heart ached for you. I miss the hell out of you. My permanent memory that keeps coming to the front of my mind is of you sitting on the porch of the
Maine house surrounded by cups of coffee and puzzle books wrapped in one of Adam's quilts. Smoking cigs and debating nature vs. nurture. I guess we'll have to continue the debate when we meet up again so you best be working on your argument because I certainly will be.
You deserve better.

i spent a lot of time with devin during youth symphony with dr. j, and i regret we didn't keep in touch after graduation. she will be so greatly missed. please know you have support and thoughts across the country. although there won't ever be any understanding, maybe some day there will some healing.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your daughter, because I've experienced this loss of my son in jan 5, 2003 right after the holidays and my life has never been the same. I just pray for you and your family to get through this it will not be easy. One day at a time because the loss and pain is so great.

To The Cassidy Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am was a member of the BVN orchestra two years ahead and I remember Devin as one of the sweetest members. Devin was a good friend of my little brother and I remember always picking on her in orchestra because my little brother had a little crush on her. Devin did indeed have an infectious laugh and smile.
