Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Richard L. Sutton, Sr., of Kansas City, Mo., and the sister of the late Dr. Richard L. Sutton, Jr., of Leawood, Kan. She and her family traveled to the Arctic in the summer of 1932 to hunt polar bears and seals for Kansas City's Natural History Museum. Mrs. Moore graduated from Southwest High School, attended Smith College, and studied architecture at the University of Kansas, where she pledged Kappa Alpha Theta. Mrs. Moore leaves three sons and daughters-in-law, Dick and Lynda Moore, McAllen, Mike and Janice Moore, Georgetown, Colo., and Tom and Carol Moore, McAllen; nine grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Mrs. Richard L. Mrs. Moore was a gracious and generous person, who loved people, pets, and fast cars. She was a homemaker in every sense, remembering everyone's birthday and taking an interest in the daily lives of each member of her large and loving family. She was a loyal friend. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22 at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Upper Valley Humane Society, 2501 W.
