Fannie Stein Obituary

Fannie Bitner Stein, 102, Lee's Summit, MO, died Saturday, February 26, 2005. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, February 27 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or Congregation Beth Shalom. Fannie was born April 2, 1902, in Warsaw, Poland, and came to the Kansas City area from there in 1921. She was a former member of Congregation Beth Shalom, Vishay Club, and the Jewish Community Center. Fannie was preceded in death by her husband Morris Stein in 1979, her brother Ben Bitner, sisters Tillie Lerner and Gertrude Kisluk, and stepson Albert Stein. She is survived by her sons and daughters-inlaw Herbert and Alice Stein, Overland Park, KS, Bernard and Cathy Stein, Wentzville, MO; grandchildren Eric and Kathy Stein, Wilmette, IL, Jennifer and Thomas Goedeke, Chesterfield, MO, Adam Stein and Paula Mahayosnand, Jersey City, NJ, and Conrad and Tricia Jesberg, Wentzville, MO; greatgrandchildren Jessica Goedeke, Zachary Stein, and Aaron Jesberg.
