George Ridenour Obituary

George E. Ridenour, 77, of Raytown, passed away March 5, 2009 at Research Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday March 8, 2009 at Beacon Free Will Baptist Church, 10825 E. 79th Street, Raytown, MO. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday March 9, 2009 at the church; burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beacon Free Will Baptist Church. George was born March 8, 1931 in Sedalia, MO, to Fred and Margaret (Wheeler) Ridenour. He was a member of the Beacon Free Will Baptist Church, the Masters of Men, and the Retail Clerk's Union. George was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Frances (Toia) Ridenour, his parents, Fred and Margaret Ridenour, sister, Pearl Barker, sister, Rose McGirl, daughter, Phyllis McManamin and granddaughter, Kathleen Ridenour. He is survived by sisters and brother-in- law, Joann and Charles Lindsey, Shirley Hinsley, Mary Gaylord, and Joey Tarantino, sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Linda Ridenour, David and Susan Ridenour, daughter, Frances Ann Ferina, grandchildren, Donald, Michelle, Spencer and Melody Ridenour, Cooper Ridenour, Morgan Ridenour, Karen McManamin, Michael McManamin, Trina Ducey, Terri Wheeler and Tammy Wilson, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
