Kansas City, Kansas - Harold E. McGill, 89, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on March 22, 2021. Harold was born on November 20, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Everett and Grace McGill. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Rosamond McGill; daughter Katherine (Mitch) Warren; son Steve (Yolanda) McGill and daughter Kristie (Craig) Arrington; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one sister Marceline Huffman. There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 25 at Maple Hill Funeral Home from 1 -2 P.M., with a funeral service starting at 2 P.M. and burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Harold's love for his family also overflowed in his humor. When asked what he was going to do in his retirement, he quickly without hesitation told me he was going to build a round house. So Rosemond couldn't hide from him or getaway.He.loved her SOOOO MUCH!

As the daughter and wife of fellow fishermen, I always felt Harold's love as an abiding, calm and never-ending river. A hero of mine through trying times. His smile has always warmed our hearts; his laugh echoes in our memories. Our love is with Harold, Rosamond, his family and all those who love him.
