My sincere condolences to the family and all who loved him. We met at AFSAM in Little Rock many many years ago.

It was an honour to serve with Herb on the KCMO Police Department. More than once, I answered directly to this wonderful man at work. We also served together in the US Army Reserves, in the 159th Military Police Battalion at Richards-Gebauer AFB. I shall not forget his patient mentoring. RIP, Sergeant.

This man was one of the funniest people I have even been around. He was a joy to work around and work for.
I am so glad he lived this long life he did, that many more people for him to touch.
I look forward to seeing him again.
