Shawnee, Kansas - Herbert A. Schnieders, Jr. passed away on August 11th, 2024. A visitation will take place on Thursday, August 15th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, KS. A rosary will be prayed at 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Friday, August 16th at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:30 am. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.

Rest in Peace Herbie. You will be remembered as a caring and fantastic supervisor by those who were lucky enough to work with you at Prairie Village Post Office. Those were the good old days for sure. Your jokes and sense of humor made for a fun and productive work environment. At the same time, you were no nonsense when it came to delivering the mail. I remember you with respect and admiration. I hope you are having a blast in heaven. Praying the LORD will encourage the family with HIS presence and comfort them with HIS peace and love.
