You were my favorite Uncle. My crazy uncle Hermann as I called you. Always played with us as kids and always very welcoming and caring. I'll forever be thankful for the time when you took my dad, your brother, into your home and cared for him and made it his home too. Those fruit and polish sausage spreads you would lay out for when me and my kids would visit will always be remembered.. Yum. Wishing I could be there in person to say good bye but I was exposed to covid so therefore I cannot travel. Love you crazy uncle Hermann and someday I can't wait until you can lay another fruit spread out for me again when I come home.
