I was stunned early this morning to learn of Jim's passing somehow I missed this entirely. My deepest sympathy to Pat and Jeff and Jim's children who I know he loved very much.

To the family:
Just found out on April 25th about his death from one of his friends, I was very stunned because we had talked about sharing our futures together recently. He was a very wonderful man and my life is now empty without him. My heart goes to his children because he was a great father; always talked about them and I haven't got a chance to know nor meeting the kids. He will be missed very dearly. And knowing that he's in good hands now.

I was very saddened to hear of your family's loss of Jim.
I ran with Jim at Shawnee Mission West on the Cross Country Team. He was a great teammate and a tough competitor. I enjoyed knowing him.

To Jim's family & friends such an unnecessary event has tragically occurred. My sympathy goes out to all. I am sure everyone will miss him terribly, I certainly will. I shall never forget him for he was my very good friend one of the best I've ever known. I send this with a heavy heart & tears in my eyes.
