Leawood, Kansas - James/Jim Marvin Mitchell Jr., son of James Marvin Mitchell Sr. and Doloris (Tritt) Mitchell, passed away on January 2, 2024, from a hemorrhagic stroke. He was born on March 11, 1944, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville Florida. He was a resident since 1985 of Overland Park and Leawood Kansas, and is survived by his wife Teresa (Taylor) Mitchell, his son Stephen and wife Anna, grandchildren Matthew and Emma Mitchell of Chapel Hill North Carolina, and sister Eileen Felten of Jacksonville Florida. Memorial services will be held at Mission Road Bible Church in Prairie Village Kansas January 27, 2024, at 10:00 am.
