I had the pleasure of working with Jim for a number of years. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed!

Jim, Sandy, Jane, Jimmy and Joan were pillars of our wonderful High Drive family. I recall fondly their Halloween driveway parties, camping in our backyards, football games, the accomplished Vader athleticism exhibited by all, the endless parade of Oldsmobile Cutlass convertibles and Jim’s great smile. We all were lucky to have such nice people as friends and neighbors. I stopped by a few years ago while visiting KC and saw Jim outside working on his Cutlass and stopped to say hello. Gracious as always, he invited us in to say hello. Our love to you all during this difficult time.

I've known Jim and Sandy for over 70 plus years as a pain in the neck younger neighbor when we lived one door down on 16th street years ago. I always looked up to Jim for all of his accomplishments, and his kindness to me growing up. Sandy was also kind and patient with all of us younger kids in the neighborhood. I'm so sorry that I didn't get the chance to see him more often in our later years, but we ran into each other in Costco a few times, and other times at mutual friends funerals, weddings, etc. Jim was a great guy and will be missed by all. Rest in Peace old friend, and I hope to see you again some day if I'm lucky enough to reach Heaven!
