Janice Eileen Dougan Caudill

Janice Eileen Dougan Caudill, 68, OIathe, KS, passed away April 28, 2004, at her home after a long illness. Janice was born December 16, 1935, in Olathe, KS, and was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker. She was a student of the Bible and other religions. Janice was known for her humor and wit. She loved to travel with her son and grandson. Flowers and gardening, mountains, animals and nature were some of her great joys. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Caudill, in 1986; her parents, Thomas Aria Dougan and Rosie Jane Linder Dougan Deaton; brother, Delmar D. Dougan; and sister, Marie Morrison. She is survived by her son, Kevin DeNoon, Olathe, KS; grandson, Ashton R. DeNoon; former daughter-in-law, Ms. Lynna DeNoon, Shawnee, KS; siblings, Donald Deaton, O.B. Deaton, and Betty Patrick, all of Olathe, KS, Mary Ann Steffen, Baldwin City, KS, and Lura Baker, Olathe, KS. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Bruce Funeral Home, P.O.
