Willa and Family,
Words cannot express the sorrow that you must feel. I only hope that you will allow me to share this time of pain with you. Jay was indeed one of the finest gentlemen that I have had the pleasure of knowing, he was always there and doing what needed to be done and never complaining, He was my friend and I shall miss him.
Due to a recent illness and Cataract Surgery this week I will not be able to be there except in spirit. I will always treasure the times we spent together.

Dear Willa and family: I am so sorry for your loss. Jay was a one-of-a-kind gentleman. I can see my dad and Jay sitting together and chatting about the day and AFSA. He will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you face this difficult time. Just think though, my dad and Jay are now up in heaven having a good ole time chatting about AFSA and their families with one another. Peace and love be with you now and forever.

Willa and family...words can never express the sorrow we, too, feel at this grievous time. Marilyn and I both have had the highest respect for Jay, and for me, it was an honor to serve in Post 7900 with him. May his soul rest in peace with our Almighty God, and may you and your family find the strength to cope with this untimely loss.

I am sorry to learn of Jay's passing. In my years of civilian work at Richards-Gebaur AFB, I have never worked with a more enthusiastic, energetic or nicer person than Jay. He was always smoothing out rough edges for his fellow man. Rest in Peace, Jay.
