Kansas City, Missouri - John Wesley Jenkins IV of the Jenkins Music Company, beloved husband, father, grand-father, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, January 16, 2023 at his home. He was 97 years old. Respecting JW's request, Funeral services will be private. For his love of animals, Jay suggested contributions be made to Wayside Waifs, https://waysidewaifs.org/. Truly a genuine, honest and wonderful man who never met a stranger. He usually knew someone anywhere we went and if he didn't, he had many more friends when he left. He will be greatly missed. If you never had the opportunity to meet him, I am sorry you missed out, he would have liked you.
