Joe was such a kind man! I was his sales person at a local retirement community, and though I never convinced him to move in, we developed a friendship over the six years we talked and met. I'll think fondly of him every time I make his amazing piecrust recipe! God bless your family.

Joe was such a good neighbor to all of my family. We so very much enjoyed his company to a royals game in the summer of 2012. I don't remember who won the game but Joe was such a gentle happy member of our own cheering section. He was so kind to share his home made jam with us but mostly with my husband who is a fellow jam maker. We will miss his kindness and thoughtfulness. Teresa Miller née Corrigan.

I cannot begin to tell you how much Joe meant to Joyce and I. The trips we made, things we did and adventures we had. We were so blessed to have had Joe in our lives. He made many friends in our home town, Hoquiam, Washington. So long "Cousin Joe".

Becky - We just heard this news - and Juel and I both have such good memories of your dad -- and your beautiful mom as well. We were guests in their home many times and always enjoyed the stories and interests --- and wonderful hospitality. Your dad and I were genealogy partners in Independence and shared happy times when one of us would 'find' a long lost ancestor!!! God bless you and your family as you grieve and remember the many blessings he brought into our lives.
