June Dewsberry Obituary

June E. Dewsberry June E. Dewsberry passed away December 19 at the JKV Village Hospice, after suffering a major stroke. June is survived by her husband of 65 years, Arthur; her sister, Ruth; her three children, Bruce, Elise, and Fred; and four granddaughters, Rebecca, Adrienne, Lisa, and Cara. June was born in 1930; grew up in India; was a Registered Nurse; and a tireless volunteer involved in almost every aspect of life at JKV. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a friend and advocate to countless people. She will be grievously missed but she will also be joyfully remembered. An informal open house will be held this Sunday, December 23 in the Courtyard Community Center Room B from 11:30am to 1:00pm. A memorial service will be planned for some time in the new year. The family requests that donations be made in June's name to the John Knox Village Foundation.
