Kadee Treadwell Obituary
Kadee was a loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, sister, and most of all, a devoted mother to her children Calvin Treadwell, Claire Rasmussen, and Colin Rasmussen. She had a vibrant spirit and a generous heart, always bringing people together with her love of cooking. As a talented chef, she found great joy in preparing meals for her family and friends, sharing not only food but warmth, laughter, and love around every table.
She is survived by her mother Mary Treadwell; brothers Kristopher Treadwell and Thomas Harvey Jr.; her cherished children Calvin, Claire, and Colin; her grandparents Paul and Virginia Treadwell; Jake Rasmussen; nieces Amiyah Harvey, Tatum Harvey and many beloved cousins including Shane Wallace (Christina and Simon), Hannah Wallace, Olivia Arpin- Wallace (Kyler and Sawyer), Nikolette Treadwell, Isaiah Treadwell, and Curtis Treadwell.
Kadee was preceded in death by Curtis, Jennifer, Patrick, and Hunter Treadwell; Paula Schneider-Treadwell; and DeVoe Treadwell.
Her kindness, creativity, and deep love for her family will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of care, connection, and countless memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kadee's memory to the Hospice House of Olathe, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), or Johnson County Mental Health (JCMH).
Service details: October 25, 2025 at 1 p.m. with reception to follow. St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, 12251 Antioch Rd, Overland Park, KS 66213.
