So many of my teen and young adult memories include Karen I hardly know where to start. There were the weekend nights we spent hours buzzing Winsteads and big Sidneys and then little Sidneys, all the while singing along with the radio at the top of our lungs. I remember the weekend I visit her in Warrensburg and we played gin rummy all weekend, in between reading her old diary and giggling until our sides hurt. I was with her when she bought her wedding dress and, of course a bridesmaid when she married Mike. After I left Kansas City we would go long months without seeing each other, but could always pick up where we left off. There was really no one in my life like Karen and I will miss her always.
