Kristin Swope Obituary
November 9, 1980 - May 26, 2025
Edmond, Oklahoma - Kristin Swope, resident of Edmond, Oklahoma, died unexpectedly on May 26th. She was only 44 years young. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death. Kristin was born November 9, 1980 in Stamford, CT. Kristin attended Blue Valley Northwest High School and lived in the Kansas City suburbs for most of her life.
Kristin was a small business owner; she owned and operated a cosmetology school, Creative Image in Olathe, KS. This was Kristin's pride, joy, and life's work. She poured her heart and soul into the business which was felt by all of her students, staff, and customers.
In addition to owning her own business, Kristin loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid traveler with her favorite destinations being Scotland and Vail. Kristin loved music and there was never a concert she wouldn't attend. Everyone who knew Kristin knew how wonderful she was. Kristin was full of light and joy, traits that were obvious to all after even just a single meeting with her.
Kristin is preceded in death by her sister, Angela Dodson and her stepsister, Jane Spigarelli. She is survived by Lisa Spigarelli (mother), James Spigarelli (stepfather), George Jones (father); her siblings, Kelly Swank (Freeman), Anne Roberts (Benjamin), Craig Jones, and Mark Spigarelli (Missy); husband Jeff Swope; stepchildren Courtney Swope, Cody Swope; nieces and nephews and an abundance of family and friends.
We all miss her more than words can say.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Growing up, Kristi was always such a good friend. She never listened to the naysayers and was always so positive and uplifting. She will be dearly missed!

Kristin was an amazing person, she was super kind and extremely positive, she was full of light. I love her exponentially vibes, she was my teacher in cosmology and she became my inspiration my role model. I will truly missed her. I´m the person I am today because she inspired me. I will miss you Kristin
