Larry Gean Goetz

February 29, 1952 - August 18, 2024

Buckner, Missouri - In loving memory of Larry Gean Goetz. Born on February 29, 1952; the first leap-year baby of that year. He went to his rest on August 18, 2024.

He was the third child born of Charles and Christine Goetz. They had a total of nine children. He was preceded in death by his father, eldest brother Robert and his longtime wife Pat and his oldest child Larry Goetz. Larry also had two daughters, Teri and Misti, several grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry loved life and lived life to the fullest that he could. He retired from Lake City Ammunition Plant. He was head of the military section. Larry received several awards for his safety ideas.

Larry had many hobbies including fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking.

Larry loved little dogs and adopted many of them. He enjoyed playing guitars and he had muscle cars. He has many friends and family who love him and will miss him very much.

Larry was interred on August 25, 2024 at Buckner Hill Cemetery, 1450 Buckner Tarnsey Road, Buckner, MO 64016.

The funeral was presided over by Speaks Chapel, 300 Adams Street, Buckner MO 64016.
