As a relatively new amateur radio operator, I was only introduced to Larry a few months ago, and only had two occasions to speak with him in person. I found him extremely interesting; I immediately took to his sense of humor, and was amazed at his patience and the fact that he seemed to be as interested in learning about me - a stranger he'd never met before - as I was in him. That made an impression on me, and I can't help but feel I've lost a friend. Everyone who knew him is diminished for his loss.

To Larry's family: you have all been in my prayers, and I hope you will accept my most sincere condolences.

As a fellow HAM, Larry was always willing to talk, and more importantly, listen on the radio. His work with the Ensor Museum is appreciated. he will be missed.
