I had the pleasure of knowing Leo through being his hairdresser. One of the kindest souls and always so refreshing to have a fellow Midwesterner in my chair. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

My youngest brother willingly helped with any problem you might have. He was kind, but took no crap from anyone. He was funny and creative; all his friends have stories of funny or crazy things he did. Life was never boring when Leo was around. When I visited him in LA, he would take me anywhere I wanted to go. He was really patient when I needed help with anything. He had many friends, both from the family of neighborhood guys, and from his work. When he was a young worker, every boss he ever had would have been glad to have him back. And if they asked him to fill in, he would if at all possible. He was a hard worker in all his endeavors; whatever it took, however long it took, he was there.
His best friend said, "Leo was everyone's go-to guy; everyone felt that he was their best friend." And he loved all animals, especially his dogs.
I miss him, but I'm counting on seeing him again.
