LeRoy Kramer Obituary
LeRoy was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Turner High School in 1963. He was a dedicated employee for DeLuxe Check Printers for 36 years.
He loved to golf and enjoyed watching sports; especially the Chiefs, Royals and KU basketball. He was an Auxiliary member for VFW Post 6654 in DeSoto and organized several fundraising golf tournaments for the Post. He loved a good party, a cold beer, and the company of his friends and family. He was once nicknamed, "Good neighbor Norm", always greeting the neighbors with a 'cold one'.
He is survived by his brother, Cary (Cindy) Kramer of Edmond, OK. His daughters: Cathy (Robert) Cooke of DeSoto, KS, Kelly (Richie) Coffey of Pleasant Hope, MO and LouAnn Elder of Overland Park, KS. He also had 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of kids he treated like his own from Susie's large and loving family.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated and there will be a celebration of his life on March 6, 2026 from 3-7pm with a memorial service starting at 4pm in the Elmridge Room at Tomahawk Golf Course club house 17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee, KS. The family encourages you to wear Chiefs, Royals or KU apparel or just dress casually.
Memorial contributions can be made in LeRoy's name to VFW Post #6654, at 33725 W. 84th St, De Soto, KS 66018.
