We were so very saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. Sending our prayers and condolences to her family. God took another one way too soon, but I guess he needed another angel. And that she was! Rest in Peace Lisa.

I wish I had better words to express what a lovely person Lisa was. She was a great Mom and raised two strong children. I feel lucky that I got to know her through our kid's relationship. Her daughter is a beautiful person who mirrors her mother's grace and spirit. Grief is such a difficult thing. I hope memories of happy times shared will bring smiles, and that love and support of friends and family will bring comfort to your family. Lisa will be deeply missed by all the people who's lives she touched.

Lisa and I began working at OMC in 1999. She and I bonded our first days being the newbies. Though, I didn't work with her after 2011, I remember her smile and beautiful laugh. She will always be in my heart. She was kind and gentle everyday. Photo credit: Teri Pope

Lisa was truly one of a kind. So calm and collected all the time, tough as nails and passionate about her family. She was always there for everyone with kind words, a listening ear and even shoulder to cry on, and the compassion, patience and understanding of a Saint. She gave without hesitation and was truly one of the strongest people I know; so many had no idea how she hurt or felt bad as she carried on day by day. She wore her heart on her sleeve when it came to Charles and her family - you all were her pride and joy! You will be deeply missed, my friend! I will be watching for cardinals!

While there´s so much I want to say about my mom, I know I can´t sum it up short enough to post on here. My mom was the best type of mom- the one who worked to provide/made sure things were taken care of, yet always managed to make time for her kids & husband, and she managed to do those things simultaneously without flaw, she made it seem so easy. She never made anyone feel like she was too busy for them no matter what she had going on. My mom gave the world to those she loved & she made an impression on everyone who crossed paths with her in this life. From the way she cared about people, to the way she loved those near & dear to her heart, she did so in ways that I can´t truly describe with words. She fought a fight I never imagined she´d have to go through, and yet she took the situation head-on & did what needed to be done. Though she may be gone, she´ll forever be with me- in my heart, the way I say/do certain things, and in my thoughts. I love you Momma, forever your baby (not even death could change that) "I´ll love you forever, I´ll like you for always. As long as I´m living, my baby you´ll be"
