MADELYN 'KIKI' SHINN NORWOOD 1929-2014 Kiki Norwood, 84, of Kansas City, MO, passed away January 12, 2014 after a brief illness. The Rosary will be said at 5:00 p.m. followed by the visitation until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17 at St. Peter's Church, 6415 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18 at St. Peter's Church. Kiki was born July 29, 1929, the daughter of Henry J. and Jean (Cummings) Naud, in Detroit, Michigan. She was an art education instructor her entire life working in several schools including Kansas City Public Schools and Donnelly College as well as offering private lessons in her home. Most of her spare time was spent volunteering for many organizations. Volunteering at The Nelson Atkins Art Gallery brought her the most joy. Traveling the world was another of her passions. She is preceded in death by her three siblings, Patricia, Joseph and Delores. She is survived by her husband of over 20 years, David Norwood; daughter, Heather Shinn (Cary Jackson); son, Stephen Shinn (Leslie Phillips); son, Andrew Shinn; three grandsons; one great- granddaughter; two step sons, Peter Norwood (Anne); Graham Norwood (Sam); daughter by choice, Peggy Quarles; and former husband, Bob Shinn.
