MARJORIE BAILES Obituary

Marjorie Ann Bailes, 58, of Kansas City, Kan., lost her battle with cancer on September 20, 2010. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Marjorie was born Oct. 22, 1951, in a two room cabin in Rossville, Kan., to Charles and Mildred Antill. While growing up her family moved to Kansas City where she met and married her husband Richard Bailes. Marjorie was a beautiful wife and loving mother. She devoted her entire life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marjorie was an avid quilter and loved being out in the yard working on her flower and vegetable garden. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Effie Savage. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Richard Bailes; sons, James, Richard, Scott and Lee; daughters, Kimberly, Tressa and Kara; brothers, Charles, Ross and Larry; sisters, Edith, Peggy and Sharon; grandchildren, Summer, Samantha, Brett, Jeremy, Dustin, Jake, Wesley, Brandon, Cody, Terry, Timothy, Ericka, Chelsea, Makayla, Ryan, Lacie, Oleg and Roman; great grandchildren, Dustin Jr. and Emma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Missys' Boutique.

We thank you God for bringing Margie into the lives of her loved ones. To the family stay strong for I'm sure Margie would want that. We know that weeping may endure for a night but there is Joy in the morning!!!
