Mark was truly a great man. Mark and I spent a great deal of time grwoing up together thru middle school and high school, spending days just talking cars and trucks. He helped me in so many ways when I was restoring my 50 Chevy. Mark was always one to lend a hand no matter who it was or what it was. There are few words that can describe such a Man. GOD must have needed him to tinker on his "Rides". I still catch myself looking for him in his truck and the big arm wave out the window. (Doug Reinsch)

It is going to be a very tough adjustment not having Mark around;hanging out on my deck, his front porch or out in back of his house playing with the dogs.I have so many good memories of time we spent together, usually him helping me with a car, getting my weedeater started or talking and napping in his backyard while the dogs ran amuck.Mark, you were a great friend and are truely going to be missed, wish you were here buddy! I miss you. God Bless.

Sorry didn't find out till today that Mark had passed, truly a good person had time for everyone.I did not see Mark real often once a month or so,the last time I brought a Snapper mower over to him because I knew he fixed them up and would give them to people who needed one.Lisa you must be a saint to have put up with all the phone calls Mark got for automotive help me included,I will miss him ,truly one of a kind.

I wouldn't have asked for another neighbor to live across the street from. Mark was always helpful. He insisted on taking a look at my car before I drove to the Lake of the Ozarks for the first time, he always took care of our dogs Lucy and Gibbs even though he didn't know Gibbs for long, and when we'd take the dogs down to the creek, he was always good to talk to. Even though at the time I didn't like it, I'm really going to miss his 4-7 calls a day that always seemed to start at 7:30 in the morning, his voice mails that always seemed to be about the dogs, and how he'd always repeat a story because he couldn't remember if he had already told me or not.
Mark, thank you for everything you have done for me. You were like family. The dogs miss you. And every time my dad and me go to the creek, we always think about you. I'm sorry for your loss Lisa. We're all here for you.

For the longest time I only knew him as Miles, the big guy at Bills Performance. As time went on I had him built a couple of engines for me and our friendship started. Mark as I then started calling him was always there for advice either on his front porch or on the phone. I will charish the memories of taking him to the track with me to watch me race my car with his motors in it! From now on with every win I'll think of you and all you taught me. God speed Mark you wont be forgotten! Lisa, my heart goes out for you and your family. Mark will be missed by many!

I have started this message several times and then erased it because I cannot come up with the words to express just how much having Miles as a friend over the last 30 years has meant to me. To all that knew him shall attest to he was truely one of kind. We all should try and be more like "big Mark". His humor and wit will be missed dearly.. I have lost one of my closest friends and there will always be something missing in my life.
Lisa, our thoughts and prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to you.

We are so grateful to have known Mark. His wit and humor will be missed. His early morning calls to "grandpa" and his teasing Lilly by calling her our dog's name "Penny". Our condolences go out to his family and friends with hope that you will cherish with us, the good times and happy moments we shared with Mark.

You are in our thoughts Lisa. We are here for you if you need anything.
Mark's passing leaves such a void for our family. He has been a great friend to us all and we always looked forward to talking with him. His sense of humor and kindness was something we all need more of.
Mark has been a huge part of both of our sons' lives for many years. They shared a passion for cars, engines and truck pulls. They talked nearly every day. He taught them a lot and was always there for them when they called for more advice. He has had an incredibly positive impact on them. He was truly a friend and mentor. It was special and we are very grateful for how it has impacted their lives.
It's not something that can be replaced. There will not be one day that Mark won't be missed.

Mark lived just up the street from my Mom's. I remember just out of high school having Mark build an engine for my Dad's Corvette. Several years later he did another one for my boat. His work was awesome but what I really appreciated was he was the kinda guy you could kick back and chat with about stuff. When in town for a visit I'd stop by Mom's and when I'd see Mark I'd always wave and he'd share the same. You will be missed my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the Miles family.
