To the Rainey family...we heard about his passing this evening from my inlaws. Very sorry for your loss--thoughts go out to you from Mike and I. Marvin was one of the most pleasant people I knew when I worked at the City of OP--always smiled when he greeted me. My fond memory...Marvin and Liz, in costume on Halloween (at our costume party) after we got married :)

Your dad and I were first cousins as my father, Carrel (C.F.) and your grandfather, Olen, were brothers. My sister Carolyn was a month older than your dad and tells of times spent together when he and the family still lived on the farm. I remember you three children as very little ones at the Henton Reunion in Albany. I'm sorry that I am unable to attend Marvin's visitation but want you to know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I was in the same class as Marvin at Corinth School and then Shawnee MIssion High School. I always had great admiration for him. I live out of town now so won't be able to attend the visitation but send all of his family my slincere condolences. Betty Hauck Goolsbee

We also were saddened to learn of Marvin's passing.
Marvin was our neighbor and friend and we enjoyed his company and many stories.
He was quite the talker and clearly had an amazing life.
Our condolences to his family.
