Lee's Summit, Missouri - Mary Elizabeth Keck, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2021, surrounded by her family at the age of 90. She was born January 11, 1931, in Foster, MO to Edward and Bernice (Lambertson) Long. Mary married her "Forever Love" Bill Keck on February 22, 1947. They celebrated 71 years devoted to each other and their five children. After her children were raised, Mary returned to school to become a medical technician. Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane (Daniel) Keepes, and six siblings.
Along with Bill, Mary's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world. She will be deeply missed by children, Linda (Steve) Williams, Bill (Ronna) Keck, Phyllis (Steve) Johnston, and Michael (Michelle) Keck; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, February 19, at the Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road, KCMO (816) 523-1234. Private services and burial in Green Lawn Cemetery will be February 20th. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
