Mary Jane Viar

Mary Jane Viar, 66, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2008. She was loved by all who had the chance to know her. Mary Jane was born on November 15, 1941, in Emporia, Kan., the daughter of Mary and Oscar Schaefer. She graduated from Emporia High School and then moved to Salina, Kan., where she resided until 1986. Mary Jane then moved to Overland Park, Kan. She is survived by two sons, Todd Viar, Salina, Kan., and Lance Viar, Overland Park, Kan.; three grandchildren, Curtis, Steven and Cassy, all of Salina, Kan.; brother, Larry Schaefer; two sisters, Norma Mayes and Marlene Danner, and extended family and many friends. Mary Jane loved life to the fullest and will be missed by many. A celebration of Mary Jane's Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at D.W.
