MATTHIAS SAMUEL LOUX
Matthias Samuel Loux - Mattie - was born Oct. 20, 2010. He was quickly and lovingly adopted into the family of John and Tracie Loux. After an extended stay in a St. Louis hospital, he was moved to Children's Mercy in Kansas City to be nearer to the Loux family home. Eventually he was able to reside in the Loux home, where his brilliant spirit and vibrant personality grew more and more prominent to all. Mattie went to be with the Lord on Aug. 21, 2014, during a severe asthma attack. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Derek Loux. He is survived by father, John, mother, Tracie, brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Amy, brothers, Taylor and Aiden and sisters, Isabelle, Elia and Emma. Visitation 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Vineyard Church of Overland Park, 8301 Lamar, Overland Park, KS 66207. Amazing family thank you for sharing your son with the world he was and is such a blessing and a light. There were so many days when he cheered my sad heart. Struggled with depression this past few years off and on. But seeing his bright face always gave me hope and sometimes he made me laugh! The love that you poured into him came shinning through his smiles and his eyes. You are truly blessed and have blessed many as well.
