She was preceded in death by her parents, Harriet and Willard Bradshaw. Survivors include sons, Darin and wife, Alicia, Kyle and Kurt; daughter, Meghan; granddaughter, Allison; brothers, Kenneth and David Bradshaw; sisters, Joyce Lankford and Denise Des Marteau and many more family and friends. We love you Nancy. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Cancer Action, 10520 Barkley, OPKS or to Nancy's Fund, c/o Capital Federal Bank, 95th & Nall, OPKS. (Arr: D.W. It is hard to believe it will be 15 years tomorrow. It seems like yesterday I heard you laugh and snort! You have 5 beautiful grandkids. We think you may have visited them a couple of times. Kyle just got married to a beautiful lady. I miss you like crazy. Say hi to mom, dad, Kenny and watch over Justin. Love ya, NeeNee

Offering up prayers to you and your family, Nancy. I cannot believe it's been 15 years. The sun is shining and it is a beautiful day hear on earth. I hope you are enjoying heaven and I know that you are still looking out for your family and friends. God bless you, Nancy and family.

Nancy--The Chiefs are 9-0. Hard to believe. I remember going to the games with you and screaming until we were hoarse. One horrible rain storm where we got drenched but hung in for the whole game. I miss calling you during the games and listening to you yell in joy or cuss when something bad happened. David, Kenny and Joyce and their families are all fine. Darin, Kyle, Kurt and Meg are doing well too. Darin has 2 more children and Meghan is married and has a little boy. Of course, Kyle and Kurt are still bach'in it. I think about you every day. I have even quoted a number of times WWND? (What would Nancy do) Especially when someone is being taken advantage of-- I always think "Nancy Nader" to the rescue. I miss you Nanner more than can be said in words. I toast to you today and will indulge in some SLUSH this holiday season.

I miss you mom! There is never a day that goes by that I don't think of you. You have been gone for 6 years and it feels like yesterday when we would be chatting on the phone. So much has happened in 6 years. Darin had a boy named Ryan and another girl named Mckenna. Alli is growing fast and is in elementary school! I got married to Brian, it was a beautiful wedding! I had a baby 21 months ago and he is perfect. We named him Finley Kyrin Bush and he is so ornery like the Bradshaw side! You would be so proud of Kyle and Kurt and how successful they are with their jobs! darin is doing great to! He is an amazing father to all of his kiddos! Denise calls and checks on us and has stepped up as a second mom! She is an amazing woman just like you and I can understand why you two were best friends! I miss you so much and have so many questions about parenting, life and jobs! I have learned so much since going through your sickness and physically losing you here! I try to live by the wise words you taught me! Kill people with kindness, live each day like its your last and really working on not sweating the small stuff! I hope I make you proud mom! I love you and miss you! I hold your memory, your sense of humor, your laugh and your kindness so very close to my heart! Until we meet again.....

Darin, Kyle, Kurt, and Meghan,
There just aren't words to express to you how sorry I truly am for the loss of Nancy. There never has been and never will be another woman like her but her legacy will live on forever through the four of you. She is with Grandpa and Grandma now looking down on us with that radiant smile. She will always be young and she will always be beautiful and there will be no more pain. I know we will see her again. I love all four of you. I truly hope that we are all able to see one another very soon. If you ever need anything, call me anytime.
Love,
Mary

November 15, 2006

To the Seck & Bradshaw Families:
I have so many fond memories of Nancy & me as cousins growing up in Kansas City. We were more like sisters than cousins. There were the fun times at Grandma's house (especially cracking eggs trying to outdo each other), times at Hogan High School, double dating then being in each other's weddings & just having fun together (even on a bowling team with Nancy, Kenny, Uncle Willard & Aunt Hattie). I think I will miss her sense of humor most of all. When Nancy was in the room, there was always laughters & smiles. She continually cracked us up. We hadn't been able to see as much of each other over the last years because of my move to Alaska but when we did we just picked up where we had left off, as if it had been only 5 minutes. This is a tough loss. There will be a real void in any future family unions without Nancy there. She was loved & will be sorely missed. Your family is in our thoughts & prayers.

Hay, I am so sorry about your mom. She was such a big and wonderful part of my life and I am so happy to have many great memories of her to look back on and laugh histarically and maybe snort a little too. One of my favorite times with her is sitting in her livingroom when she had her baby journals out. She would read from them and then tell funny stories of all her kids. I remember the one about Kurt drinking gasoline. Boy she was terrified! Since we knew he was ok, we all laughed so hard that we cried. Another sweet memory of mine is when she took me to the Chiefs game. I know that meghan still gets ralled up and angry that she didn't take her instead. I always called her when the Chiefs did something well. I will miss her deeply.

Dear Meghan: My heart goes out to you Meghan, I know how close you and your mother were. She was always so much fun to be around, and never worried about what other people may think. The first time I met your mother was going up to Parent Weekend your freshman year at K-State. You and Todd suggested we drive up together and Nancy and I spoke on the phone and made our plans. I picked her up that morning and made a new friend. She was sincere, funny, and open during that 2-hr. drive to Manhattan, making it seem like a 30-minute drive. She was so proud of her children and beamed every time she spoke of either of you. My prayers are with you and your brothers during this most difficult time, may God give you all the strength you need.
