Orville Fultz Obituary

Orville M. Fultz Jr., of Raytown, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at the Medical Center of Independence, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2006, 2 p.m., at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. at the chapel. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Orville (Jr) was born June 19, 1932, in Falls City, Neb., but lived in the Kansas City area since childhood. He was the first child born to Orville Sr. and Sara Fultz, who preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army. Orville retired from Arrowhead Grating after 32 years of service. He married Joyce D. Brown, June 9, 1961. She survives of the home. Thank you for the happiest 45 years of my life. Orville is also survived by his loving daughters, Cheryl Leyerle (Dave), Kimberly Lager (Kraig); four grandchildren, Andrew Gardner, Corinna Gardner, Samantha Leyerle and Makayla Lager; sisters, Barbara Charles, Charlene Gillette, Karen Fultz; brothers, William, Ronald, Claude, John, and Larry. Orville was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all; he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. We love you Pa Pa with all our hearts. You were the Best!
