Patricia Mura Obituary

Patricia Louise "Pat" Mura

August 15, 1954 - February 19, 2025

Blue Springs, Missouri - Patricia Louise was born alongside her twin sister Pamela Louise in San Antonio, TX in 1954. She was raised along with her 5 siblings by their mother, Marilyn Louise. After moving across the country for much of her life, Pat eventually settled down near Independence, MO. She met the love of her life, Tom Mura, during their time working at the USDA - she always felt blessed to work alongside her husband, her twin sister, and the many great people she called friends. When she wasn't working, Pat was pouring her heart into her family, her many pets, and her gardens. She loved camping at Stockton Lake, and sitting in the sun whenever she got a chance. In her final days, Pat danced, sang, laughed and smiled. She ate good food with loved ones and was accompanied by her son Jonathan in her final moments. She is survived by her five siblings - Pamela Haston, Mike Griffin, Randy Beall, Rick Beall, and Jackie Varnes; her only son, Jonathan Mura; her loving nieces Tricia, Kimber, and Michelle; and their children Larry, Aaliyah, and Asa, who always loved their Grandma Pat- and all of the animals whose lives she touched. She joins her husband Tom, the love of her life, in the clouds above Stockton Lake forever and always. "If you can't remember me fondly, then don't remember me at all." Cremation is planned with a private family service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family suggest contributions to be sent to Wayside Waifs in Pat's honor.
