I have known Pat and Gene for a long time. Pat will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful person, she was always kind, and always smiled when I saw her in church. Pat will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Gene and the family.

Gene, Pat was one of kindest and best persons I've ever known. She always had such a kind, sweet face and easy-going ways which I envied. I'm so glad we got to know you both before leaving the Kansas City area. We were both saddened to know God had called her home and thank you for taking the time to call us. Our sincere sympathy is with you and the family. Our memories of Pat are many. She was so special.

To The Waters Family: What a truly special lady Pat was. Every visit with her was pleasant, and she always had a smile that seemed from within. What a blessing she was to all who were lucky enough to be a part of her life! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gene,The Lord gave the gift of love to you and Pat which you shared for 54 yrs. The tears of grief and loss are there because of that true gift the Lord gave so many years before to you both. The comfort is knowing you will be reunited again.
Our condolence.

My wife and I have been fortunate enough to live next door to Pat and Gene for almost two years, In that short length of time we have had the wonderful pleasure of getting to know them and just how wonderful they both truly are. We deeply regret that we did not have more time to spend with them. We offer our upmost sympathy to Gene and the family and offer our support in any way possible. We pray that God will comfort them all during this time.

Mark, I am sorry to hear what happened. Having lost my mom when she was in her early 70's I understand. The memories and love she shared will always be alive in you!

While hunting with her son, Mark, we stayed at her house. One afternoon, I came downstairs to see her shelling cashews (I believe it was) on the kitchen table. She had gotten them on sale, I think.. Instead of saying "You're welcome to stay in my house", she said "sit down, shuck a while". I did, and we passed a few pleasantries. That was nearly 20 years ago.

Dear Pat,
I am sorry I did not have the chance to get to know you better. You were always very kind to me. You once gave me some very sound advice that still echoes in my mind today. Your journey here on earth may have come to an end, but your journey with Our Heavenly Father has only just begun. Thank you to the entire family for sharing this great woman with the rest of the world. She was a very wise lady. God's Blessings to you all. Jaime & Vikki Avila

I am so sorry about Pat. I was shocked to see the obit today but I do know she was ready to go. She was a kind and special lady who served graciously over the years in her church & community. She was a loving mother & friend. God Bless you.
