Bev, I have been thinking of you and Paul for some time. We are so sorry to read that Paul died. Well, he is certainly happy where he is now!
You and Paul led Dick and I to Christ forty years ago. You took me to the hospital where our fourth son was born. (remember?) We named him Paul, after your Paul, and you looked after our boys and myself until Dick could get back from Chicago.
If you want to get in touch with me I would be thrilled. My email address is [email protected] I will always remember how kind Paul was to us, and will always be grateful for both of you leading us to Christ. Pat Taylor

Bev,
I was so sorry to hear about Paul, but know he is rejoicing in the Lord's presence. It has been many years since attending First Assembly in St. Joe, but I remember the wonderful Christian example you and Paul set both in your marriage and lives. May the Lord carry you in His arms and give you grace and peace as you and your family deal with this difficult time.

Dear Bev and family,
Mike and I were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Paul's unexpected passing. We will always remember and appreciate Paul's realness, love of life, and quiet disposition. He had a delightful ability to heal both the body and the soul. He has left an incredible legacy in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as those touched by his kindnesses in FCA and missions. We have been VERY blessed to know him! May God bless you and keep you during this time of transition.

Dear Beverly,
Please accept my heartfelt condolence for your loss.
Although I had limited interaction with your husband, I always remembered him as kind and tolerant to me when I visited your son at your home (during high school and college).
I always looked up to your husband as a good family man, an accomplished business man, and a respected member of the community.
God's Peace,

Beverly and family,
My heart is so sad! Paul was a wonderful man. He was so giving and caring of others. He made an impact in this world for the Kingdom and we will miss him. I have many great memories of you both at the FCA golf camp at the Lake of the Ozarks. I pray that our Lord would wrap you in His arms and comfort you all at this time.

Dear Bev & family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know Paul was greeted with "Well done my good and faithful servant" and is rejoicing now. He was one of a kind! You both have touched the lives of many people around the world, and although you and your family will miss him here, heaven is a better place! God bless you and comfort you all in the days ahead.

Beverly and Family,
We will remember Paul as a good man. He was always friendly, and a gentlemen, with a bit of awnery thrown in for good measure. While not a man of many words, he was the type of person who brought peace and comfort just by being present. We are going to miss seeing him each Sunday and enjoying his presence. God Bless your family in this time.

Dear Beverly and Family,
Paul was a man who aligned himself with the Lord and lived to serve Him and others. What greater things can any of us accomplish than those? Please receive my deepest sympathy at his sudden passing. As the Lord brings you to my mind, I will keep you all in prayer. May God be especially gracious to you during this tender time. Love, concern, and prayers,

Dear Paul and Family,
I'm so sad to hear of your father's passing. It is hard on the family with the sudden loss of a loved one but there's comfort in knowing that he didn't suffer and he's now in heaven watching over all of you. God bless you all.

We will always be grateful to have known Paul and enjoyed his friendship. His high standards were beautifully intermingled with a gentleness and graciousness toward others. I am so thankful the Lord has blessed you so very richly with Paul's life as husband, father and friend. He will be missed to say the least. We will be praying for you in the days and months ahead that you would know the Lord's presence in this new season of life and that He would fulfill all His good purposes in this time of life as well.

I met Paul only last week when I started therapy at his Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center. Just in the few moments I spent with him, I realized what a fine, caring gentleman he was. Those of you who knew him longer are blessed to have had him in your lives.

To Paul's extended family,
I am still in shock after hearing the news of Paul's passing today. I met Paul at his Kansas City office in November 2008. I had therapy with him three times a week until I moved in March of 2009. I knew from the very 1st visit that he was one of the most wonderful men I had ever met. He was dedicated to his career and his family. He loved to tell me funny stories about his hobbies like hunting since he knew that I could never do it. I looked forward to seeing him each and every visit as he always made me feel so much better once I left both physically and mentally due to my health concerns and interesting life. He will always have a special place in my heart even though I only knew him a short time. He was a true doll. I loved his sense of spirit and vigor for life and all that it has to offer. He will be greatly missed by so many people. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, employees and all who knew him.

Laura,
Your dad was such a wonderful person. He treated my neck and my soul. He would tell me that I needed to let go of the stress in my life. I told him to retire and spend time with his wife and family before it was too late. I know how important his family was to him. It showed in how he cared and treated his patients. Just remember that he may not be here in body, but will always be here in spirit.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bev,
Karen and I were shocked to hear about Paul.
What great times we had at the golf outings in the Ozarks and other courses around the area.
You and Paul have always been examples for others, in church as well as in life.
I like to think, Paul and Don teed off on the most beautiful course any of us can imagine, with Jesus applauding and saying, well done.
Paul will be missed, but only for a season, and we'll see him and all our love ones again.
May God continue to richly bless you and your family. John 11:35

Despite the fact that I only knew Paul for a little over a month, he played a major role in my life and my transition from moving from Chicago to Kansas City. He gave my job which allowed me to pay for housing and put food on my table. Although the clinic feels empty without him his presence will be forever felt in the work we do and the patients we treat.
He will be missed.

Dear Beverly and family.
I am sick today. I just read that Paul had passed. He was the most Godly man that I have ever known. He helped all those he came in contact with. If it were not for him my father, Warren Welsh would never have walked again. Also, he helped my mother Edna Welsh until her passing. I don't know how many times I have needed help and he was always there. I will always remember him with love and his devotion to his family. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Love from Susan Welsh Wright

Beverly,
We were just talking about Paul on Sunday. I was very surprised by the news Monday. He and my dad are very happy in heaven. I remember many fun times at Deer Park when I was growing up with you. I always loved coming to your house and being with all of you for many years. I'll always remember when we ate chili topped with popcorn! It was very good and we still do that a lot. My prayers are with you and Laura, Karen and Paul.

I met Paul doing a student affiliation at Methodist in 1968; he was an excellent P.T. with a neat sense of humor - I remember complimenting him on his bright green tie on St. Patrick's Day and he said "of course, O'Giesenhagen is a VERY old Irish name". May your memories of him, especially of his laughter, bring you comfort and peace.

Beverly,
I'm traveling this week and just received the shocking email. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know Paul is walking with Jesus right now (and maybe even giving him some pointers on his golf game). My memories are so vivid of Paul playing with Paul III and singing with his granddaughter at golf camp. Apparently, God needs him right now. I'll miss him so much. Keith
