Pauline Rivera Obituary

Pauline DelgadoRivera (72), of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away the 12th of January 2003 at the home. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday on the 16th of January 2003 at Sacred Heart-Guadalupe Church, located at 2544 Madison Ave, Kansas City, MO, 64108. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, K.C., MO. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday on the 15th of January at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 816-753-6200 where the Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Mrs. Rivera was a lifelong area resident; she was a housewife and a member of Forter-Galvan-Serrone American Legion Auxiliary Post 609. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Terfila Delgado, her husband, Eliseo G. Rivera, her brother, Seferino Delgado and her grandson, Charles W. Rivera Sr. Survivors include five daughters; Frances/ John Gray, Overland Park, KS, Cecilia/ Mark Dorrell, Carmen Torrence, Lupe/ Charles Henry, Tonie Tanner, and two sons, Dave/Tammie Rivera and Daniel/ Christine Rivera; adopted son, Bruce Adkins; brother, Seferino "Sef"/Katherine Delgado, all of Kansas City, MO, 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to grieve. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Sacred HeartGuadalupe Church Capital Campaign (Church) Fund.
