Peter G. Loya

Peter G. Loya, 73, Kansas City, KS, passed away June 21, 2005, at the Providence Medical Center with his family at his side. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 25 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Maple Hill Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Mr. Loya was a lifelong Kansas City, KS, resident. He was a relocation agent for the State of Kansas for 26 years before retiring in 1993. Prior to that, he worked as a real estate agent and for the Santa Fe Railroad. Peter was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Angela Loya, brother Joe Loya, and sister Eulojia Loya. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Trinie Loya, of the home; seven sons, Edward Loya, Peter Loya, David Loya (wife) Vickie, Andy Loya (wife) Darla, Steve Loya (wife) Mary, Paul Loya (wife) Maria, Danny Loya (wife) Julie; two brothers, John Loya and Raymond Loya; sister Jessie Ruiz; 15 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
