So so sorry Jane. What fun we all had at 75th (including our film star debut of Tapping KC :) ) prior to Coleen and I moving to NC and then kids following that kind of took away us from that circle full time. I fondly remember the trip we took to my Folks farm, hitting the country pubs and visiting the wonderful German Catholic churches in "God's Country ", especially The "Cathedral of the Plains", Saint Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria. Dick was one of a kind and will be missed by many. Peace and Love to You and Your Family.

Dear Nathan & Brummel Family, I am very sorry to learn of Dick's passing. I have fantastic memories of spending time with your family back in my high school and college days - especially the trip to North Carolina back in '96 I think. I remember Mr. Brummel as a great man - smart, funny and a super conversationalist. May he rest in peace in Heaven forever!

Jane, I´m so sorry for your loss. Know that I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I love what your grandson said about being happy for his Grandpa.

So very sorry to hear of this! I remember Dick (and his brothers) from our early days of playing baseball and kickball on the dead end street in our neighborhood, when we were in grade school at St. Catherine's. We rode the same bus to Bishop Hogan. My regards to his family members. May his soul rest in peace through the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
