Kansas City, Missouri - Robert "Greg" Bray, passed away May 12, 2021. Visitation will be held from 2:30-3:30 pm Friday, May 21st at St. Elizabeth Church, 2 W. 75th St., Kansas City, MO followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Urban Trail Co (https://urbantrailco.com/donate).
Robert was born November 26, 1960 in Pittsburg, KS to Robert and Joann Bray. Robert is survived by his wife, Hiroko Bray; a daughter, Charlotte Powers; granddaughters, Adalie and Lydia; his mother, Joann Bray; sister Shelley Dorsh, brother-in-law Rob, nephews Jack and Wyatt; sister Rebecca Bray; and many members of family-in-law in Japan as well as the U.S.
Robert was an avid cyclist who loved the nature and outdoor life including backwoods camping and hiking. Foods of all cultures excited him, he cooked delicious meals with and for family and friends. A skilled craftsman and gardener, he could always be found working in his workshop or garden with music in the background.
Robert was loved by many friends and family and will be missed greatly.
