Robert Dreiling Obituary

Bobby Dreiling, 36, was called by God on Friday, June 15th, 2007. He was the youngest son of Dr. Robert Dreiling and Shirley Platt. Bobby leaves the love of his life, Molly, as well as many friends and relatives to remember him for his love and concern for others, his wit, his passion for the game (any game), "too much talking" and many other memorable qualities. In addition to his parents, Bobby's immediate family members include John Platt, Kathy and Dave Herbert, Carrie Williams, Mike Dreiling, Margie Studenny, Jan Saxon, Jeb Platt, Doug and Jo-Ellyn Elliott, Joseph Platt and 22 nieces and nephews. We will always be grateful for the time we shared with him and take comfort in knowing from now on he will always be on the "winning" team. The rosary will be held on Monday, June 18th, at 6:30 p.m. followed by a visitation at St. Thomas More Church. A celebration of his life will be on Tuesday, June 19th, at 10:30 a.m. at the church. "Till we meet again." (Arr: McGilley State Line (816942-6180)

I was very sad to hear of Bobby's passing. I have known Bobby for many years and have very fond memories of our days playing little league, grade school, highschool and beyond. He was a true individual and kind soul. Even though I have not seen or had contact with Bobby in quite some time I will miss him dearly as a friend and person.

I just found out that Bobby has passed and gone to heaven. We had worked together and I called him friend. As I drove into work today the thought of giving him a call crossed my mind as it has been almost three weeks since I've heard from him. Then I got to work and received the message to call his brother in law. He told me the news. He was a special person to many. He wil be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all who knew Bobby.

I remember Bobby having a charismatic smile all the time, especially when he was telling a joke. Although some of his jokes were not always funny, you still laughed because of his facial expression. he had a huge heart, an unbelievable soul, and he was a true friend. Although a lot of time had passed since I last saw him, knowing that he is not here he will be terribly missed.

Bob was always such a great guy in high school. Although we weren't close friends, he always "lit up the room" whenever he walked in. He just had that kind of energy. He will be greatly missed.
