Robert Perrette Obituary

Robert Perrette, 82, Liberty, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Liberty Terrace, Liberty, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2004, at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart, Liberty, MO. Interment in Graceland Cemetery, Weston, MO. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., with Rosary at 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 23, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at M-291 Hwy., Liberty, MO. Robert was born July 13, 1922 in Kansas City, KS, to Charles and Sarah Perrette. He graduated from Ward High School in 1940. Robert was united in marriage to Doris Cox, in Weston, MO, on July 15, 1944; she survives of the home. Robert was a mechanic for Associated Transport, retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church for 39 years, also a lifetime member of Royal Neighbors of America, and a 59 year member of the International Association of Machinists Local 778. Robert enjoyed gardening, and visiting and helping family, friends and neighbors. He was also a musician and in his youth entertained at the Brush Creek Follies, and various other establishments. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bert Perrette. Additional survivors include daughters, Cheryl Wallace and husband, Alan, Alice Atwell and husband, Gary; sons, Paul Perrette and wife, Karen, Ronald Perrette and Michael Perrette; brother, Donald Perrette and wife, Alice; 11 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
