I was able to visit with Roger on a trip back to KC two years ago and had a great reacquainting visit. How could I imagine that he would pass so soon? We have very little contact with our family, especially in that area. We wish to send our condolences to all on the loss of Roger. It's been one of those weeks for us with the loss of two other friends along with him.

Roger was a kind and gentle man. He was a great neighbor to our family. When the kids were little, he would loan them movies from his vast collection. When I bring him a meal or baked goods , he always called a few days later to thank me again. Our youngest son , Eli, has done his lawn and helped him with misc. jobs over the past three years. Eli really liked Roger and enjoyed the talks they shared. We will miss him! Mo Orpin and family
