Olathe, Kansas - Rose Ann Menefee-Ressel died on August 22, 2021. She was born May 21, 1943 in Sedalia, MO. She married her soulmate Wallace Ressel November 14, 1964 and enjoyed 42 years of a loving marriage. She spent many years as a catholic and public school teacher positively affecting many lives. It would be common that grown adults would approach her in public places saying, "Hello Mrs.Ressel" and telling her how their lives have been. She was a faithful practitioner at Prince of Peace in Olathe and the simplest of things in life brought her joy. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother to her growing family. She loved going to the Lake of the Ozarks, traveling, and having family barbeques. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Ressel and her parents E.W. and Mary Dugan-Menefee. She leaves behind her children Jeremy Ressel, Mary Boxler (husband Len Boxler), Aaron Ressel (wife Heather Ressel) grandchildren Brytnie Ressel, Nathan Ressel (wife Kayla Provenzo), Evangeline Ressel, Julianna Ressel, Daniel Boxler (wife Marlee Boxler), Zak Boxler, Jamie Phiakeo, Jennifer Manhnieo, great grandchildren Dalton Ressel, Aerabella Ressel, and Landon Phiakeo. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Sunday evening August 29th at Penwell-Gable funeral home 14275 S Black Bob Rd Olathe, KS 66062. Followed by a service Monday August 30th with a 10am visitation and rosary and 11am mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sedalia, MO. Burial at Calgary Cemetery in Sedalia, MO. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association
