SANDRA BAGGETT Obituary

Sandra Jeanne Baggett, 74, Crossed over 25 December 2014 at her home in Maricopa, Arizona. Born Sandra Jeanne Traner in Kansas City, Missouri, on 28 November 1940 and attended East High School. Sandra grew up a Missouri girl with a yearning to understand the world. Her passion for ancient indigenous cultures with a focus on the spiritual mysteries led to a life long journey of deep study and research. She became one of Kansas City's finest psychic readers. She was a member of the "Psychical Research Society of Kansas City" as well as an elected board member in 1979, and served as the Director of the "Psychic Fair" from 1978 through 1980. Sandra was one of the founding members of the "Psychic Guild", which was featured in the 1984 book "Fortune Telling" by Margret Baldwin. She was a prominent tarot reader for 23 years, first under the name "Psychic Guild" and then better known as "The Mystic Vyne", at Renaissance Festivals in Kansas City, St. Louis, Florida, and Colorado. She appeared numerous times as a guest reader on the local cable program "Psychic Voyages" hosted by David Schneider on KCCP-TV channel 30 and the radio program "Psychic Break" hosted by Saphira on KKFI 90.1 FM. She retired from The Kansas City Star/Times news paper after 13 years of service (October 1985 to July 1998) as a night time dispatcher. All while raising four children and finally following her heart to the southwest where wild horses, mountains and open sky became her mantra for freedom. Always civic minded she involved herself in her community serving as a board member of the Acacia Crossings HOA, in Maricopa, Arizona and made many friends. She is survived by her husband Jonas "Ed" Baggett, four children, Vera Kay Davis, William L. Van Wey, Lisa Anne Hurst, and Sarah Lynn Hays along with eight grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, all who love and miss her deeply.

Sandra encouraged each of us to live life as a soulful journey of self-discovery.
During this journey let us each embrace
Yesterday as Memories,
Today as Eternal,
Tomorrow as Possibilities
filled with Imagination where-in the only limit we may encounter is the realization that there are no limits to us as Spiritual Beings having a human experience.
Blessed Be to Sandra on her new journey.
