SCHERRIE ADAMS Obituary

Scherrie Adams, 74, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away Wed., June 21, 2017. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Mount Washington Cemetery. Scherrie was born on Feb. 18, 1943, in Independence, MO, to William and Peggy (Butler) Braden. She enjoyed crafts, having her own business called "Scherrie's Creations". She taught painting and ceramics, earned several awards for her work, and loved to travel. Scherrie was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She will be remembered by her daughter, Elizabeth Rivera of Raytown, MO; son, John Adams and wife Meshel of Lee's Summit, MO; grandchildren, Andrew Taylor, Willie Taylor, Joey Taylor, Ariel Adams, Brianna Adams, and Jake Adams; great grandchildren Katie Myrick, Glen Taylor and Alexandrew Taylor.
