Sharon L. Filbert

Sharon L. Filbert, 50, Weston, MO, died Thursday, October 17, 2002, at her home in Weston after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Leavenworth, KS, on December 2, 1951, the daughter of Robert and Vivian Hietlinger Baskas. She married Clarence "Clancy" A. Filbert on April 8, 1972; he survives at their home. Sharon is also survived by her parents, Robert "Bobby" Baskas and Vivian "Tudy" Baskas of Leavenworth, KS, two daughters, Cassandra "Cassy" Bradford of the home, and Katherine "Katie" Watkins of Leavenworth, KS, three grandchildren, Arlana Bradford, Darienne Watkins and Dalton Watkins, one sister, Vivian "Vicki" Richard of Lee's Summit, MO, and nieces and nephews of Lee's Summit. The family would like to thank Hospice of North Kansas City for all their compassion and patience, and also to the friends and family who supported Sharie so lovingly. Memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St., Leavenworth, KS. Chaplain Joel Whiteside of North Kansas City Hospice will officiate.
