Steve was always "bigger than life" in all the best ways. His hugs, laughter and genuine interest in others.
I have not seen Steve in years but he will live on forever through the stories we will share.
I will never forget the time he met me at the school bus stop, in Lansing. He had that hardy laugh, he picked me up and swung me around before we jumped into his sports car.
I still wonder what the other kids on the bus thought that day!
I didn´t care because he was my big cousin and I loved him!

I am sorry for the passing of Steve. I worked with Steve at Allied/Signal-Honeywell he was great to work with. He knew how to deal with the many different personalities as a facilitator. I especially enjoyed our impromptu
meetings we held at the old Tanner's Bar down on 103rd st. near work. He always had that BIG smile. God Bless to Dot and the rest of his family and friends. Teddy Freese

Cousin Steve was one of my mom's (Aunt Sylvia) favorite nephews. He always took time to visit when time allowed and brighten her day. His charm and awesome smile made us all feel special in his company.
Our hearts go out to Dot and the whole family for the loss of this wonderful man.
Deepest condolences,
Nancy, Larry and Paul Luchyn

When Steve and I served together in the Army at Ft. Sill, he and Dot gave this boy a life away from the post and welcomed me as part of their family. I am ever grateful for that and the times after the Army when they welcomed me back again to their new home in Kansas along with my bride to be. His laughter and firm handshake will always be remembered along with the only moving pictures taken at our wedding back in Oct. 1971. RIP my friend.
