Susan and I have known each other since Mrs. Blair's First Grade class. I always admired her strength. Her funny faces lightened the hearts of everyone around her. I look forward to our reunion in Heaven.

I met Susan when I worked with her on the first Christmas on the River. She was a joy and a wonderful addition to earth - and now to heaven. Bless you, Susan, and your family...Sher

Susan was a great friend in high school. I remember her from band camps and pep club. And driving around in her little blue volkswagon. She'll be missed.

Susan. My friend. I will miss her very much..like the sister I never had. She loved animals and liked to have fun. She especially loved Christmas. "Good night sweet princess and let flights of angels sing thee to thy rest".

Susan was a dear friend and college chum at MU of my daughter, Terry Ware. She visited with us many times and she was so very much fun and a sweet girl. Her death was a shock. We will miss her terribly. My prayers are with her family.

Susan and I had not spoken for nearly 2 years, which I now truly regret. One of my fondest memories of Susan and I was one evening at my home after we had had 1 too many glasses of wine we got into a water fight. She ran to the sink in my kitchen and grabbed a glass from the sink and filled it with water. All the while I was waiting for her outside the kitchen door with water hose in hand. It goes without saying who got the best of who. I will miss you Susan.

I was really sad to find out that Susan died..because she was my godmother..and i only got to meet her a few times, but knew how much she meant to my mom, I felt as if i knew her from how my mom descibed her.

I was shocked to hear that Susan had passed away. I'd known her for more than 30 years. We'd met in college and continued our long distance friendship throughout out lives. I cherished her friendship so much that I asked her to be my daughter's godmother. She will truly leave a huge void in my life.

Susan was a consummate community volunteer. She loved Parkville, and worked tirelessly on committees and events that helped make Parkville the unique place that it is. Her commitment to Parkville's Christmas on the River was heartfelt. No one has ever cared more about that event than Susan. Her work on getting the Salvation Army, especially Toys for Tots, was a personal mission. Thanks, Susan, you made a difference.

I can remember the fun we had in elementary school singing in the 5th grade talent show together. All the marching band performances in high school. I only wish I had kept in touch more after high school.
