TABITHA ANNE BRANDON

Tabitha Anne Brandon, 40, Overland Park, Kan., passed away April 23, 2012, at her home. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, Kan. Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at Overland Park Church of Christ, 13400 W. 119th St. Overland Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Safe Home. Tabitha Anne was born the first child to James and Shellie Brandon on March 30, 1972, in Lubbock, Texas. She became sister to Jared Brandon in 1979 and Lacee Brandon in 1981. Tabitha graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in Mission, Kan., in 1990. She then completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in pre-medicine from Kansas State University in 1994. She completed a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Health Administration at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Mo., in 1999. Tabitha worked as Area Manager for Fresenius Medical Care, managing up to nine chronic dialysis clinics from August 2000 to September 2008; rising from Administrative Coordinator for the same agency from August 1999 to August 2000. Tabitha worked as an Administrator for Clinical Associates from December 1996 to August 1999 and Rockhill Women's Care as Front Office Coordinator from November 1994 to April 1996. It is impossible to portray Tabitha with just a few words. Tabitha had a way of making her influence felt and acted as a catalyst to impart new ideas. She added spice and verve to gatherings. She was blessed with many gifts: highly intuitive, innovative, a problem solver, independent, an encourager, open in expressing her views, organized and dependable. Tabitha was preceded by her maternal grandparents, Paul and Emma Mae Coch, and brother, Jared Brandon in 2009. She is survived by her parents, James and Shellie Brandon, sister, Lacee Brandon, aunt's, Paula Coch and Julia Holloman. She exhibited grace, charm, a complex personality and was energetic and will be greatly missed by friends and family.
